Want to create an amazing design and enjoy the process?

Aspen Architects provide a Worry-Free Design Process to bring your ideas to life, without the drama.

Does this sound familiar?

You deserve to know what you’re getting, understand the process, and have a path to achieve a design that you can enjoy for a lifetime.  That is what we do as Architects.

Working with an Architect: Experience the quality design process you deserve

We know the anxiety of bringing an idea to life, working with contractors, and feeling concerned about budget, design decisions, and timelines.  We’ve lived it, so we understand it.

As Architects, we’ve seen hundreds of projects go from schematic level to completion, we have seen almost every scenario there is, and we are prepared to help take away the anxiety of the unknown.

We put you in a position of confidence by properly documenting your wants and needs in a way that your contractor can understand and execute.

What you can expect

Design Checklist of ALL your ideas

So you don’t have to remember everything you want, and you never have to wonder if your contractor is on the same page as you.

Regular 3D Walkthroughs

As an Architect, we want you to KNOW IN ADVANCE if any area is too big or too small for your furniture or specific design element. No surprises here!

Functional Analysis

We constantly check for functionality to ensure that every aspect of your home is both ATTRACTIVE AND USER FRIENDLY (Don’t want any regrets about which way that door swings!)

Bid Support

At the conclusion of your design, you will have access to our CONTRACTOR SELECTION AND NEGOTIATION service. This ensures you have the BEST CONTRACTOR, at the BEST PRICE!

Pre-Construction Meeting with Contractor

Your Architect will meet with you and your contractor to review all documents we’ve created to ensure an understanding BEFORE WORK BEGINS.

Code and Quality Standards

Both you and your builder will have CLEAR DESIGN DOCUMENTS to ensure a transparent and unequivocal understanding of what standards and codes are expected

Construction Quality Checks

Don’t worry. As your project is underway, the Architect will make PERIODIC CHECKS on progress to make sure things are proceeding as planned.

Final Inspection

Your Architect will perform a FINAL INSPECTION so that you don’t have to worry that everything is done prior to executing the completion of the contract.

The Process

Step 1: Schedule a FREE Discovery meeting

Let an Architect document your wants & needs, explain the construction process. You’ll walk away with a CLEAR PATH FORWARD.

Step 2: Craft your Design and Execute the plan

Work with your Architect to craft your ideas into a workable design, then produce all necessary construction documents for successful completion. We also prepare bid documents and help select a qualified contractor, followed by periodic construction observations to ensure design integrity and compliance.

Step 3: Enjoy your vision, free of headaches!

You FINALLY get to feel the success of an idea transforming into reality, all while knowing that you played an active role in the execution of a well-planned vision.

Testimonials

I was nervous starting out, not knowing who to use for our home. I asked around and was referred to CottonWood Architecture.  We received not only drawings and suggestions, but the 3D renderings gave us new ideas.  We love it.

I was overwhelmed because the barriers to success were huge.  We had a short timeline and needed to somehow get all the right people in the room such as stakeholders, teachers, community members.

Without Isaiah in that process it would have been impossible.  All of his technical expertise was needed, from the design documents to obtaining estimates for construction.  I started this with a feeling of nervousness, now I feel accomplished, peaceful and hopeful.
